i remember having a discussion with my parents in the car. it started out by talking about one's fate in marriage etc. then it grew into both men and women's rights. we discuss about the issue of some men behaving like a king towards their wife. even simple things such as taking off their shoe is impossible. instead,they would ask their wife to do it. such men just makes me puke lah. i truly believe in equality. its not that i would never sacrifice a few things for my husband(in the future). but if both of us have our own career,i expect things to be about the same. i don't mind making him drinks when he just got back from work,or even massage his back. but hell no to letting me do all the house work.

pampering and making me a slave is two different things. i know i will respect my husband as it is compulsory to do that.even religion-wise. but not to an extend where i have to always treat him like a king. ive thought about it and i think i will want him to fold the clothes. haha! i just hate folding clothes so i will hope my man will help me in doing it instead. other chores can be done by me. haha. from cleaning the house,cooking to taking care of the kids.

i got an uncle who expects the wife to always serve him. that really disgust me. from taking the remote control himself,to taking off his shoes to expecting a drink once he got back from work. where is the equality here? my goodness,men can be too egoistic sometimes. if both are working,that means both are tired. so give her a break lah. gosh
